No Entry in EPTRANS Table

Hi All,

I want to transfer PR's for direct material from ERP to SRM.I did the necessary Configuration settings in ERP . When I am creating a PR without account assignment this PR is not appearing in EPTRANS table though I can find an entry in the field EP Profile in EBAN.

Could you please give some pointer.

I tried to create PR with Account assignment also but still EPTRANS is empty.

Hi Atul,

you can try following steps.

1. Function module BBP_EPRTRANS_MAINTAIN must be made known to a BTE(Business Transac

tion Event). To do that, make or change an entry intable TBE11.

Application ID Active Text

PM X Plant maintenance

2. Make an entry in table TBE31 for event 01000710 with the followingfields:

Event Country Application Function module

01000710 PM BBP_EPRTRANS_MAINTAIN

3. To set the purchase profile determination, use Transaction SM30 tomaintain view V_

T160PR and V_T160EX according to your requirements.

Dear Atul,

If all SRM and R/3 configurations are in place then EPTRANS table will get updated only when PR is Complete. Means check whether PR is not in blocked status or check for Release strategy...

Once PR is complete then system will automatically update EPTRANS table and after PR is transferred the record is again removed from EPTRANS.

Hi Atul,

when there is no entry in the table, some settings in ECC are still missing or the

settings are not suiting the case of your config. Check the following tables:

- T160EX for setting up a combination of PGroup and MGroup; define a profile for it

- T160PR for setting the destination of the profile defined above

The prepare MRP in that way, that there are some Reqs fullfilling the requirements,

run MRP or create manually a Req, and have a look into the transfer table

EPRTRANS. The account assignment does not have any impact of getting Reqs

into the transfer table, but there is a difference between procurement of external

requirements and plan driven procurement.

Cheers,

Claudia
