The only difference is IP01 is used to create the different maintenance plan and ip41 is used to create only simple maintenance plan,
for creating calibration plan first you have create an eqiupment as calibration equipment, then create a task list and assign to the task list (test equipemnt)which will generate the inspection lot where you will enter the readings based on the reading you will accept the equipment .
For automatic creating the inspecion lot the order type should be assigned to inspection type .
