ECC 6.0 & BW7

HI

Installed ECC 6 IDES and would like to use the system for BW. After logging into 800 client used the T code RSA1 wherein under Source System and in BI tab there is an object IDES ALE Central System(client 800) with Tech Name T90CLNT090 but in deactivated state.

Please let me know the step by step procedure to make this system BW usable assuming I use 800 client both for R/3 and BW.

Hi,

Execute the function module RS_MANDT_UNIQUE_SET in SE37 with value of i_mandt being set to 800 (in general the client where you want to execute this transaction). This is in accordance with OSS note 316923.
