Former Member

Hello experts,

I am new to XI and I need help with real time XI scenarios.

can you please give me 2-3 examples of What kinds of systems involve in data transfer (both sap and non sap) for transfer of what kinds of data (general IDOCs, RFCs and other kinds of data)

and what is the purpose of that scenario? also how many times the data will be transferred between the systems?

Thanks in advance,

Haritha.

Hi Haritha,

>>What kinds of systems involve in data transfer (both sap and non sap)

it depends on the requirement, the transfer may be from either sap to non sap or non sap to non sap or sometimes sap to sap.

>>what kinds of data (general IDOCs, RFCs and other kinds of data)

again it depends on type of transfer. if u deal with sap systems u will have to use either IDOC or RFC or PROXY depending on the requirement.

>>what is the purpose of that scenario?

the purpose of scenario would be transfering of data from one system to other, data manipulations depends on the scenario.

>>how many times the data will be transferred between the systems?

data trasfer may be immediate process, daily process, weekly,monthly.....depending on the requirement.

few example scenarios can be found in help.sap.com......

Regards,

Ravi.
