Arial Bold in ECC 6.0 for smart styles

Hi All.

I am fasing an issue in smart styles.

with the Font type ARIAL or ARIAL_B , the font style <b>BOLD</b> is not comming.

while all the other font types,the <b>BOLDNESS</b> is comming.

only for this ARIAL ,ARIAL_B it is not comming.

I cahnged the printer also.I tried with all the types of printers (laser,Ink Jet).

Can Any body help me to solve this issue.

Take a look at this SAP Note 1132685, here you can learn how to install new fonts from SE73

There is nothing to do with the printer... the problem lies in the font setting.. u need to define it properly... check the setting of the fonts in se73 and then edit the font style in smartforms.. if the problem still exists.. then try uploading the bold arial font on to the system.

usually, if font size is small few fonts cannot recognize bold.. to check this try changing bold to italics you can see the difference.. try to select the font family that recognises bold with small font size.
