hi,
i have installed WAS on ABAP 6.40 and i am trying to install the java-plugin for it.
but i am getting an error during the installation
stating that : unable to start the J2EE engine.
can you help me out..............

can you be a bit more specific about the J2EE problem? Check out the SAPInstDev.log, which might give you more hints. Try to start the engine manually and once it is up and running click on retry in the installer.
