User Parameter ID for Plant & Profit Center

Hi,

I have set the user prarameter ID for Plant (WRK) and profit center (PRC) with value through SU01.

However, they are not applied while creating the Sales Order through VA01.

Is it a standard behavior of VA01 which will ignore the parameter ID for plant and profit center?

If not, how can I make it work?

Hi,

The parameter WRK is only used on the MM side e.g. ME21

In Va01, you can have default values for all the fields on the first

screen, order type, sales org, etc.

You could also determine plant in mv45afzb userexit_source_determination

you can also set the plant at the customer, Material master record.

In transaction Va01, the default values from the parameter id's will

only work for the fields on the SALES ORDER : INITIAL SCREEN e.g

- sales organisation

- distribution channel

- division

- sales office

- sales group

Refer the SAP note 12487 also.
