We see all the messages getting stuck without furthur processing in IS. We see a "Queue Stopped" message against the Queue as well.
Any idea as to how to resolve this ?
Thanks

One more point...
I am not sure of the system performance.
You may want to look for the PARALLEL PROCESSING option to avoid gateway bottleneck.

Hi,
When an error occurs while a LUW is in process system throws the error message with SYSFAIL or ANORETRY. This status can be seen in SMQ1 as was advised by Sudhir.
One point to say is that queue can never be blocked by qRFC itself. You may want to navigate from SMQS to reset the status. Also remember that STOP status has been assigned by the applications controlling the data/document flow from outbound or inbound queue which has to be reset by removing the block.
If the STOP is seen for a longer time, advise you to check the affected applications.
Checked on SAP help here is what I found..
You can use the QOUT Scheduler to determine how many work processes are used for sending the LUWs.
Because most external server programs are not multithreading-compatible, only one work process should be used for sending to external servers. You can make this setting for every destination in transaction SMQS.
The serialization is performed by the SAP Gateway.
Thanks,
Srini.
