Page N of M Custom field not working

Hi there,

I've got a pdf form that occasionally outputs to 2 pages. The client wants to have Page 1 of 2 to be displayed on the form but for some reason I cannot get this to work.

We're running:

ECC 6.0, Release 7.00, with SP11

Adobe Designer Version 6, 0, 040306, 0

When I insert the Page N of M field from the list of Custom fields it creates two hidden text fields and one display field. In the hidden text fields it has created the following script:

this.rawValue = xfa.layout.page(this);

When I run the report it always displays: Page 0 of 0

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Robin,

Please try the following. It worked for me.

Insert this element not on the body pages, but on the master page.

For example, you have Page1

In the body pages tab, insert this element, and it works.

Try it and let me know...

it should work.

That's great, thanks Mona.

I did what you suggested and it still didn't work. Then I realized that the 'Include Page in Numbering' wasn't checked. I checked the box and now its working perfectly.
