hi,

Adobe Lifecycle designer for interactive forms comes as a bundle with the Netweaver installation.

its integrated with Netweaver itself.

my netweaver version # is 2.0.16

then you put a UI element called "interactive form" on your dynpro layout.

when you goto...

Interactive form -> Edit...

it takes you to the Adobe Lifecycle designer... where you can design your interactive form.

i hope this helps,

regards,

-Ag.

hi,

when you install adobe designer independently, it wont work in coordination with Netweaver.

but if you use the netweaver installation bundle which has adobe designer embedded in the installation,

it will. Because it is designed for the purpose.

You can not use Adobe Lifecycle Designer 8.0 for SAP Interactive Forms. Adobe Designer 8.0 generates XFA version 2.5 documents. Sap Interactive forms is still based on XFA version 2.4. So not all functionality is implemented in the Adobe Document Server used by SAP.

The highest current version of Adobe Designer you can use is version 7.1.3284.1.338866. This version is part of the SAP GUI for Windows 7.10.

You can download from service.sap.com/downloads or order it at the sap shop.
