F4 help

Hi all,

when i press F4 in input field it is not showing any value.but when i am entering the value manually it is taking.

How can i get the values from input field.

Hi,

not each input field has an F4 help. But it may have an input validation. These are two different things.

If you put the cursor in the input field and choose F1 and in the popup choose Technical Info. You will get the information from which structur/table the input field is comming. If you have the right permission, you can double click on the table name and see the definition of the table, where the input help and the foreign key (input validation) is defined...
