ora-00308 error encountered when running brtools

Hi all,

i encountered the following error while attempting to apply archive logs.

1. I managed to restore the archivelog files to the correct SAParch directory.

2. I am unable to apply them and encountered the following error:

Specify log: {<RET>=suggested | filename | AUTO | CANCEL}

ORA-00308: cannot open archived log

<b>'I:\oracle\PRD\saparch\ARC10859_0614623974.001'</b>

ORA-27041: unable to open file

OSD-04002: unable to open file

O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.

The required archive log is found on the correct path. Any ideas on the solution to this problem?

Hi,

I guess possible causes are

1. Check Right file in right location

2. User and permissions

3. check file is archived or not

4.Check Parameter log_archive_dest_state
