Can anyone explain step by step how to do performance tuning and SAP System Monitoring (Logs, traces, locks, users, processes etc) of the system?

I want a very descriptive answer.

Hi R S,

I suggest you should search SDN forums first. Questions like these have been answered repeatedly. Are these interview questions?

Anyhow, Performance tuning and Overall system monitoring=> Ask the Netweaver admin forum.

User activity monitoring => "Authorization made easy" book has step-by-step screenshots info about SM18, 19, 20 tcodes.

If I would be you, I would try to get a book regarding SAP System administration / tuning (can check SAP Press publication) or try to read help manual http://help.sap.com
