VC with BOM

i am configuring Variant pricing in VC. how do i take BOM items in VC?can any one help me with detailed explanation?

create main material : MM01 (KMAT type)

create component materials : MM01 ( can be any type)

goto CS01 . here enter the main material and make it universal.

here enter all the components associated with main material .

depending on the character selection u can write the dependecy for each component .

just click the component and click the dependency editor symbol. there u can write the selection conditions. or preconditions ... etc .. and depending on that u can control the bom explosion in the sales order ...

it would be better if u tell me cleary wht u need ... just VC in BOM can not give me clear idea wht u exactly need

u create the main material and the componenet materials . in CS01 u create a bom witm main material and in tht u enter the components.... u can write dependencies for those components....
