Error with deployment of .ear files on the server

Hi Guys!,

I am trying to deploy the webdynpro project on the local EP server,

I get an SDM error after entering the password,

error is "SDM password incorrect... deployment aborted"

Solution I tried is

I have tried to change the password for SDM using the java config tool

still I see the same error. this solution was explained in one of the OSS notes..

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated,

Hi Kiran,

After changing the SDM password have you restart SDM server?

Password is not re-set properly.Restart your SDM server then deploy.

yes I did restart the SDM, infac the whole server, still the problem persists,
