hi
whatsthe use of Test message tab in component monitoring
venkat
Hi
It allows you to test a message as though it has been sent from another system.
You just need to fill in the details of the sender service (the business system or business service name), the interface you want to test (outbound interface), the username and password, and quality of service (Best Effort for synchronous messages).

Hi venkatesh,
normal flow in XI
Source Sys->Adapter-Integration Engine-Adapter->Target Sys
well in case you want to send a message directly to Integration Engine in the Source Message Format (Message type inOutbound Interface ),
you can send it using Component Monitoring .
So, go to message mapping, populate the source message and copy the xml version of that and paste it here and send. n you will find your message in Integration Engine..
Here you bypass the Adapter.
