Test cases

Hello,

I have an issue, I have created manual test cases using .doc (Word document), as at that point of time we were not having any test scripts. Now we have test scripts, but they are all .xls (Excel format). I already have created test plan, test packages using old test cases. Now I want to change those old .doc test cases to .xls test cases. Is it possible to modify test cases format or i have to delete old test cases and create new test cases with Excel test script and regenerate test plan and package ???

Hi,

Whatever new test cases came, upload the same in solar02 and

then goto stwb_2 tcode select the test plan( existing or generated earlier).

Click change button,Select the new test cases and regenerate the same.

Similarly do the same for test packages But it is better to create new test package as regenerating test package result in loss of their Status.
