Sales Document Status

I am a little confused as to why when I go in a Sales Order Status Overview it shows it as fully delivered for delivery status yet when I look at the delivery document it hasn't even been picked or goods issued. Is this an error or proper behaviour?

This is standard R/3 behaviour. This indicates that all order lines have been on a delivery document.

You will also see that Header status is Completed (Overall).

Yes I am noticing header status is overall complete and nothing rejected and billing document complete. Why would these show as such? What would be a better way to follow sales document flow?

once you create del , sales doc status shows says completed,del status can only completes once you create billing doc
