Hello All,

In SLD i have a product in that i created software component1 and again and want to create another Software component2, this Software component 2 has to inherite the properties of software component1 .

Hi Bhagavati,

Yes u can reuse SWC's.The objects which are defined in one SWCV can be reused across other SWCV's by defining the<b>Dependencies.</b>

Just go to Software Catalog->select s/w type as <b>"Software Componenet"</b>

click on "Usage Depedencies" and select "Define depedencies".

Here u can add dependency between ur SC1 and SC2.

by inherit, do u mean to say that you want to use the objects of the SC1 in SC2?

if so, then create the dependency in SLD.
