XI installation Error in HP-UX

Hi,

When installing XI in HP UX we face the following Error. How to overcome it?

Attempting to install NW 2004s on Itanium 64 HPUX. Getting

no GUI connected; waiting for a connection on host error upon executing

sapinst. Using Reflection X as client. Tried with option

SAPINST_START_GUI=false and running startinstgui -host chakotay from

remote W2k3 server. Getting java.net.ConnectException: Connection

refused: connect.</i>

Hi Madhu,

You need to setup the enviromental variables and connect using and X server in order to be able to display sapinst gui.

read the preparation steps in the installation guide.
