DB13 errors when scheduling database jobs after remote client copy

hi

after perfoming a remote client copy from PRD to DEV i am now unable to run any scheduled database jobs in DB13 the job log reads:

Job Started

Step 001 started (program RSDBAJOB,variant &0000000000042 user ID ADMBCK

Variant &0000000000042 does not exist

Job cancelled

Its Win2k3 ,oracle9.2 ,SAP 6.40

Any ideas as iam not getting any specific error message to point to the problem

this in completely normal, refer to homogeneous system copy guide, you need to delete and recreate all DB13 entries 1 by 1.

the problem has been fixed.i have resheduled my jobs and all i ok now

Hi,

you have the problem because DB13 jobs are scheduled in your target client. dynamic variants are lost.

Lgg in to another client which is not copied and it will be OK
