SmartSync Error: No Context available

Hello experts,

during synchronization of my mobile demo application (AWT, MI 25 SP 19 Patch 00, SmartSync with SyncBO based on merep_contact_* BAPI wrappers) I get three of the following error messages, and no sync data is downloaded to the client.

[20070802 10:52:33:144] E [AppLog/MI/Sync           ] Exception while
processing inbound container 5EF1A97BEABB2D48A4BC13ABDC6E8123
java.lang.IllegalStateException: No Context available for ConversationId
E51B7AD6D341254B9B5AF43F23AF75C1

The SyncBO is active and I can use it with the SyncBO emulator.

Do you have any ideas what went wrong?

Hi Andreas

Just trigger a client data reset and hopefully this should resolve your problem. You can do this using the Reset Client button available in Settings Menu

this very problem is reseolved - thank you.

Nevertheless there is still no data coming in from the backend...

I will have to do some further investigation.

I do not know what exactly happened.

But there must have been an error within the client installation. After doing a fresh install of the client the problem did not occur any more. I did some resets of the client and also moved it on the hard disk, so I think something went wrong during this actions.

Another possible reason is that I used the same mobile ID in the SyncBO emulator as well as on the client, which causes problems during the next sync, as I read afterwards.

In either case, a fresh installation of the client solves the issue.
