Sales order creation error

Hello Everyone,

I am getting this error while creating a sales order : Please analyse and let me know the solution:

Material 302309 is not defined for sales org.5000, distr.chan.06, language

EN

Message no. V1 382

Diagnosis

Material 302309 is not defined for the following combination of

requirements:

o Sales organization 5000

o Distribution channel 06

o Language EN

System Response

The system allows no further processing.

Procedure

You can check whether

o the material number that you entered is correct

o the material has been created for the sales organization and

distribution channel

o a short text with the appropriate language exists in the material

master record (a short text must be available in the language of

either the customer or the sales organization) </b></i>

I guess the error lies here in this particular point...there is some text maintained in customer master record which i am not able 2 remove ...

The material must meet all three of the above requirements before you

can process it further.

hi,

while u creating the material. u see this steps:

1. select the view which is required by you.after selecting the views donot hit enter and

2.select organisational levels - it is important (u r getting error due to this only).

maintain ur plant storage loocationsalesorganisation+ distribution channel. then hit enter and maintian the fields and create the material.

ur problem will definetely solved.

Hi Sachin,

Have you checked whether the material 302309 is created in the Sales org 5000 and dist. channel 06

If it is maintained in the same sales org, then goto Material Master of 302309, using T.code MM02.

Now goto Administrative Data and give there Language as EN and your material no. and save it.

Now create the order once agin, there wont be any prob.

HI Sachin ,

go to MM01 create the material with reference of that material and select

sales org data 1 and 2 and sales generial plant data correctly this will solve your problem

I hope you have maintained single language all over your assignments wherever required like in CoCd, Sales Org etc....

hi,

go to MM02, then in basic data1 tab, maintain English in Languages Maintained. This will solve ur problem.

Hi Sachin,

I hope you have maintained material in proper SO and distribution channel. Regarding text maintained in MMR, go to MM02 and delete the text you entered.

goto MM02 and specify u r material name and specify the sales area

o Sales organization 5000

o Distribution channel 06

o Language EN

go transaction code mm02 and enter your material number and select the organisational views and enter your sales org, distribution channel and division.

then select the views and go to additional data and enter the language as EN
