Hi Mag,

The issue here is that there is an unsupported attribute in the

datasourceConfiguration_r3.xml or datasourceConfiguration_abap.xml (

whichever abap/r3 datasource file used by the J2EE UME).

To fix this, you need to download this XML from the Engine and remove

the 'SecurityPolicy' attribute, save and upload it again.

You can download this from the offlinecfgeditor. Open this and browse

to cluster_data -> Server -> persistent -> com.sap.security.core.ume.ser

ice. You will see the file here and can download.

When uploading the modified file, use the ConfigTool. Then restart the

J2EE Engine.

Thans for the responce.

Could you send me the steps how to upload the XML file from configtool.

This is the first time i am facing this type of problem.

It would be great if you can send me the detail steps or document.

Hi Mag,

Browse the file system to ..\usr\sap\<sid>\DVEBMGS<nr>\j2ee\configtool.bat

Once opened, navigate to cluster-data -> UME LDAP Data. In the data source configuration file section "upload"

the file you would have downloaded and changed as per my

earlier reply.

Hope it helps, please award points if it does

I have downloaded the file.

But how to remove "SecurityPolicy" attribute.

I am unable to find this options. Is it present in the XML file.

Mag
