RFC-connection SAPNET_RFC

Hi!

I have SOLMAN 4.0 and have connected two business systems via RFC and generate for these systems EWA.

One system is SRM 5.0 and another is R/3 4.7

I have seen that the EWA for R/3 4.7 are overdue, it means some errors occured.

I have seen one of the errors are wrong SAPNET_RFC connection.

Where do I define this connection with wich user?

On SOLMAN or on R/3 4.7?

Should this connection be similar to SDCC_OSS?

Is there a general approach to track/analyse the problems occured by missing EWA report send to SOLMAN?

Thank you very much indeed

regards

Axel,

The connection SAPNET_RFC needs to exist in both systems as it is required for Earlywatch Reports.

Use transaction SDCCN or report RTCCTOOL.

Hi Axel,

You can create SAPNET_RFC as copy if SDCC_OSS .If there is a problem with SAPNET_RFC, it should be deleted and recreated. If SDCC_OSS tests ok ( Utilities -> Test -> Authorisation) in SM59, SAPNET_RFC can be created as a manual copy of SDCC_OSS. Check note 763561 for more details

Hi!

Many thanks for your response.

The question still is: do I need this connection and- if yes- where?

In Solution Manager system or in Business System?

E.g. I have discovered one SAPNET_RFC in Business system which refers to CSN and is wrong. So I have copied the SDCC_OSS as you described to the new SAPNET_RFC.

I hope it helps...

Thank you

Yes you are right .. It needs to be working in Business system. This rfc connection si created during the initial activation of SDCCN for the purpose of forwarding sessions to SAP

Thanks
