Dear all,
Does anyone knows which course is needed for use of Solution Manager 4.0 system administration (basis)?
We will upgrade our SAP 4.6C environment to ERP 2005 SR2 and SM will be installed.
I'm not sure if the basis administration of the system will be changed with the new ERP version? Does the support package installation, transport request imports, and other sap system administration task be changed in ERP regarding 4.6C version?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ruzica

Hi,
If you are looking at only "daily" basis work. Then, its enough if you try to setup your Central System Administration in SOLMAN.
as far as SMI100 goes, it covers the following...
Installation and Configuration
Setting up solution landscapes
Service desk
Monitoring
Administrative Tasks and applying support packs and notes.
Hope this helps.

please have a look at www.sap.com/education --> solution manager --> "SM* " training courses
