Web AS 6.40 with 4.6C backend

Hello,

I am trying to use MSS/ESS on the portal (EP 6.0 ) with 4.6C as backend.I do not know how to configure the ITS settings.Does the built-in ITS of Web AS 6.40 cater to the need of the ITS(or do i need a stand alone ITS) and if it does how would i configure it and how would i enable ITS transactions on 4.6C ?

I would much appreciate any help.

Hello Sai,

The Integrated ITS doesn't support flow files based Services. So if you are planning to use services based on flow files like the ESS Menu PZM3, you need a stand alone ITS. For the configuration of Standalone ITS, download the ITS Administration Guide from Service Market Place. Its easy and you can install a ITS Server on you Windows Machine.

Hello Sai,

the integrated ITS as of 6.40 can not be configured to point to an other backend than the one it's running on (the 6.40 one). So in your case you will need to have a standalone installation of 6.20 ITS. On 4.6C there is no integrated ITS and therefore no way to switch it on.
