RG1 Register - Value updation in case of Scrap sale

Hi Gurus,

I am working on SAP CIN ver 4.7.

I need to update the RG1 (DSA) register when the FG material is scrapped. i.e. need to deduct the quantity of FG matls. scrapped.

For example:

100 nos. of FG 'X' is issued from production....so in RG1, 100 qty is credited along with the exicse duty value. Now, if we scrapped 5 nos. of that FG qty, I need to update the RG1 to reverse FG qty by 5 and its proportionate value accordingly.

I think we can use movement type 551 to scrap the FG material and set this movt. type in config to update the RG1 register. So, thru' j1i5 we can update the RG1 register. But the problem here is, how will it update the exicse duty value of the scrapped qty.

Please share your expert inputs.
