Error while reinstalling ERP

Hello everyone,

While I was trying to install ERP 2005 SR2, I got an error. Hence I wanted to reinstall the it, so I delted /sapdb and /sapmnt folders and tried to reinstall it. But I am getting the below error message. Can some one please help me on this?

I am using SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 and MaxDB 7.6 versions.

ERROR 2007-07-31 11:14:40

CJS-00030 Assertion failed: SdbSoftware.getExistingDbmcli(): IndepProgPath /sapdb/programs exists, but /sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli is missing.

Dear Preeti,

besides deleting /sapdb and /sapmnt you also have to delete:

/usr/spool/sql

/etc/opt/sdb

/usr/sap/sapservices*

After that, the MaxDB software is completely removed, and you can restart your installation.

The issues if resolved. I had to delete /etc/opt/sdb. Thanks for your timely help. I got another issue now. Would you mind if I send you an email in future for any issues I get.
