server getting busy with out any logon users.

hi,

my server getting busy with out any logon users.

when i restart, with in one miunite it's getting busy.all dia and bgd workprocess are with running state( in mmc).(saplxrep and zcendition_v are running)

while trying to logon,it's giving timed out error.

is there any thing to do from os level ?please suggest me.

Hi Gayatry

Did you see at the OS level the dispatcher?

But, try the following:

1) Stop SAP system (stopsap R3)

2) Stop DB

3 ) Start DB and SAP at the same time

4) If you have wp running again, try to kill the process at the OS level, after that the wp will restart, and should be change to "waiting" status.

We had a similar issue, and we solve that doing a kernel upgrade.

Hi Gayatry,

In os level command prompt go to dpmon and restart the sap process(dialog only otherwise increase the dialog work process in os level profile file this will we be take effect only after sap restart).
