HI, can u give briefly between block and switch in bpm .
I am not sure wether you need to ask such questions in the forum.Why cannot you check that in SAP help or google it !
First search it yourself and then ask forum for help!We need to follow some professional ethics when you post such things.

I do agree with Sravya, these sort of questions should not be ask in forum..reason if you are XI learner you can directly get the basic defination from TBIT's , SAP help or even from SDN XI e-leaning.
I also found many people aksed about forums points, XI interview questions XI standard reading material i.e TBIT*'s
So it is better of us to aks questions only only when we surrendered to the problem:-)

BLOCK: we use block to combine steps that you want to execute one after other and which are to access the same local data
SWITCH: you can switch to define different proccessing branches for a process

block can be compared with repetitive function call
