What is the diff between Inbound delivery and outward delivery.?

Inbound deliveries are the incoming deliveries(material comes into your company); in which you receive the goods frm your vendors or when your customer returs your goods. when your company will purchase smthing, you will do 'goods receipt' for them in delivery.

And Oubound is exactly opposite.

Outbound deliveries are the outgoing deliveries(material goes out from your company); ; in which you send the goods to your CUSTOMERs(when u sell them). when your company will sell smthing, you will do 'goods issue' for them in delivery.

The difference between the Inbound and Out bund deliveries are as follows

INBOUND DELIVERY:it is the process where the goods are received by the plant from the external vendor

OUTBOUND DELVERY: it si the process where the goods a re delivered to the customer from the plant

and again there are some scenarioes where the outbound deliveries also differ with customizing

for example the delivery document type LF is for the standard delivery which is created with reference to the standard order OR

and the delivery type LO is there which is created with out reference to the standard order

and the delivery types NL is there which is for the replenishment delivery

and the delivery type NLCC is there which is for the STO delivery for the cross compan

Inbound delivery is made into the company ie. from vendor or any third party. and outbound delivery is made to the customer who is placing the order with the company,

hello Rajesh,

inbound delivery : comes under MM.

as the delivery which adds to stock of customer(ship toparty). the movement type is inward

whereas in outbound delivery : it is in SD and the movemnt type is 601 ( good issue )

it decreses the stock of the sender thats is of vendor.

this is the main difference.
