CJS-30149 ABAP Processes of Instance did not start

Hi,

I'm posting this question after trying multiple times to install solution manager in windows 2003 server standard edition, with oracle 10g all in a single machine.

at step 33 "Start Java Engine", i encountered the following error:

<b><b>CJS-30149 ABAP processes of instance</b> a01/dvebmgs00 [ABAP:UNKNOWN, JAVA: UNKNOWN] did not start after 10:30 minutes. Giving up</b>.

looking at the sap management console, disp+work.exe show Stopped. Others are running.

The virtual memory has been set total 16380 MB.

May I know how to rectify this problem. Thank you.

Start SAP through command line. I will resolve the issue. I faced this issue just now. it got fixed after starting sap system through command line
