Problem in Billling doc creation

Hi experts,

When creating a billing doc for service item category "TAD", I have set the necessary copy control from Delivery doc type LF to a billing doc type.

But I hit the message, "The doc is not relevant for billing..".

Can you let me know if something is missing in Config?

Copy control should be maintained for Order to billing, not Delivery to billing.

I could see both copy control set for Sales to Billing as well as Delivery to Billing.

When I tried with Sales Order number, I could create the billing doc now.

But when I try to use Delivery number, it gives error.

However I could see the config in IMG for Delivery to billing.

Pls advise.

You specify "billing relevance" in the corresponding item cat. TAD.

For service item, there is no delivery why did you create a copy control from delivery to billing.

This is only for "Confirmation of service", not physical Delivery ...

chk the following settings for TAD in T.Code: VOV7

<b>Schedule Lines Allowed: Check</b>

<b>Item Rel. for delivery: Uncheck</b>

Yes service related itemsa should be relevant fro order related billing
