Price determination

Hello SAP Prof,

In customer master record(CMR), Sales area data, there is a field called Price determination under billing tab.

What is the use of the field Price Determination.Where i can see its effect.

Price Determination

If the master record represents a node in a customer hierarchy, the pricing indicator determines whether the node is relevant for pricing.

You can indicate that a node is pricing-relevant and create condition records for it. If the node is part of the hierarchy path that the system determines for a sales order, the system takes the corresponding condition records into account during pricing.

You are maintaining the master record for a customer hierarchy node and you want to create pricing condition records for the node, set the indicator.

Hi Rajesh,

This field is activated, in cases where you have configured customer hierarcy and the filed rebates is also used for the same purpose.
