Hello Oliver,
although SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (a.k.a. 2004s) already contains several features that are also included with the SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE), we offer CE as a separate shipment for the first time with SAP NetWeaver 7.1. In fact, CE was the first part of SAP NetWeaver 7.1 that we shipped to customers in may 2007. General availability for SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 will be declared after the successful completion of the ramp-up, which we currently expect for the end of 2007.
Best regards

Hi Peter,
One more question: The SAP NetWeaver CE Developer Studio (7.1) which can be downloaded here on SDN has no portal plugins at all (as far as I can see) - would't it be a great idea to deliver these, too?! (Making all the SAP Java developers a bit less angry when realizing that using Eclipse2 will have gone, some day...)
Thanks in advance
Detlev
Hello Peter,
we have the problems, that
1. we can´t deploy our jsf-applications, based on j2ee 5.0, on our netweaver2004s-application-server,
2. we need two developer-eclipse-versions for netweaver2004s an our j2ee 5.0 projects.
So all what we want is a netweaver-platform with portal, knowledgemanagement, ...
and j2ee 5.0 support.
Best regards
