How to Restorre SAP R/3 MMC

Hello Seniors,

I am not able to start R/3 Server. It doesn't show any icons in the window. How can I restore my MMC back to the original state? Can we boot into the OS with Last known Good Configuration or a 'system restore' would work?

hi,

did u delete in desktop.better search files are folders *.msc.if u get that file copy to desktop.if u can't get u totally removed from program.u will go to microst and down load the MMC.

Hello Markus,

We did not make any changes prior to rebooting. I just shut down R/3 server and then shut down my system. Now when I reopen my MMC, I dont find any Icons. How could I get out of this? How can I restore the console back to its original state.

Are you logged on now with the same user you were before?

did you check if

C:\WINDOWS\SAPMMC.MSC

C:\WINDOWS\system32\SAPMMC.dll

are available?

try to logon with administrator or with <sid>adm and see if your "icons" are there again.
