Restore SAP R/3 MMC

Former Member

Hello Seniors,

I am not able to start my R/3 Server. It doesn't show any icons in the window. How can I restore my MMC back to the original state? Can we boot into the OS with Last known Good Configuration or a 'system restore' would work?

Thank you,

Sagar.

Hi,

Check for SAP services are running. Goto command prompt execute startsap.

Check with dpmon for workprocess status. whenever all workprocess come to wait status logon to sap.

If the above process is working fine.

Open Windows management console (execute mmc from run). Goto>console>Add/remove snap-in>Add button>Select SAP from the list.

Right click on snap > Properties>give parameters like <SID> <System Number> <host name>

You <SID> will be added. Start the SAP from console and check it.

Save this console at your desired location.

Regards,

Ganesh

Hi,

That is hardly an Oracle issue.

You should post on the Windows Forum, not on the Oracle one.
