hi all,
i have small problem in file content conversion.iam geting file with TAB delimiter,for this i will pass like:
NameA:filedSeparator::::::'0X09' so my question is for which operating system can i use this ascii char for windos or unix can any one suggest for windows which one i have to use and for unix which one i have to use.
Note:usefull answer will be rewarded.

Hi,
Both '0x09' and [ ] <i>(-> tab space with in square bracket)</i>also given in the parameter for fieldseparator will work. ASCII is a <b>character standard</b> adopted in both the operating system. In fact i tried '0x09' on sun solaris also! its fine.

for tab use '0x09' as fieldSeparator - this will work both in windows and unix....
