Hi
Is there any specific installation for MAM, either on Mobile Device or PC client?
Regards,
CB
Hi Chirdeep,
Log on to service.sap.com/swdc, select the link 'Select for all categories' on the left-hand side and then search for MAM. U will find MAM 2.0, 2.5 & 3.0. I would u to go with MAM2.5. You will find the docs along with it.

Rahul

Hi Chirdeep,
Have you read the documentation that comes with the MAM CD. Which MAM do you plan to install (MAM 2.0/MAM 2.5)? In either case you will need to configure the backend and the middleware (MI Server) to have MAM installed correctly on the MI Client. MAM installs like any other application on the MI client using the provided war file (on the MAM CD).

1. Compatibility of Mobile Asset management with SAP CRM-Service to track van stock/inventory
2. What are the benefits of MAM and what can it do?
3. Can we use this in mobile CRM or with ECC only?

Hi,
MAM is an offline application to bring R/3 Plant Maintenance/Customer Service functionality to a field technician. Main functionalities are:
Order Management
Motification Management
Technical Object (FuncLoc, Equipm.) Management
Those object can be assigned to a mobile user and will bring along other relevant data: partners, contracts, historical, measurements, cataloques, etc.
MAM is based on ECC and is not compatible with CRM backend. For your information, order in CRM is not exaclty the same as in ECC.
