Error: Error occured during distribution of tp configuration

hello friends,

I have a dev and prod server with new installations sap erp 4.7 win2k .

I am following steps to configure TMS:

1. log in to production in client 000 and running se06

2. STMS in Production which enables my prod as domain controller

3 log in to dev server and run se06

4 login in dev and run STMS , here i get an Information Error: "Error occured during distribution of tp configuration"

kindly guide me in this configuration step

hello,

i run stms also but still it is giving same error of tp.

when i see the tp error log it indicates anrfc error connection which means rfc connection is not made between my dev and production , i have shared usr folder of both the systems. any other settings which i should check ?

Is your name resolution correctly configured? I mean, can one system ping the other using the machine name?

You need to run STMS in client 000 in your DEV too, configure to use the PRD as domain controller, then go back to client 000 in your PRD and "accept" the system.
