Hello experts -
I am new to SAP PLM and I am doing some research for my company. We are running SAP R/3 4.7, and I have two questions that I was hoping you could answer:
What is the latest version of PLM?
What is the PLM version that is compatible with R/3 4.7?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for your help.

Hi Brad,
as (most of) SAP PLM is an integral part of your ERP system, your PLM version is R/3 Enterprise (4.7). That means that most parts of SAP PLM (like document management, change management, etc) are already installed on your ERP system. Latest SAP PLM release is ERP 6.0.
There are some additional parts of SAP PLM which are (usually) not part of your ERP system. That is for instance:
- cFolders (for collaboration, latest release: 4.0)
- cProjects (for collaboarive project management, latest release: 4.0)
If you need additional information on SAP PLM you can go to the service marketplace for PLM at service.sap.com/plm or the help portal at help.sap.com
Best regards,
Daniel
