already i have faced the same problem it should be the issue with the dll file. Please check all the files exist under /oracle/client.

DIR_LIBRARY is missing in /oracle/client

Hello,

it could be working now, but that setting is wrong

ORA_NLS33 is an environment variable used by Oracle < 10g

But you set it to point to a 10g directory that does NOT exist on a standard Oracle 10g installation.

That makes me think that your oracle client 9.2.0.<x> is not properly installed.

yes we are using 10g db and os as sunsolaris 5.10

You need to install the Oracle 9.2.0.7 client at least.

Notes searching does actually not work (I always get 0 results) - I'll give you the note later.

Are you using Oracle 10g? You need to install the Oracle client, preferably 9.2.0.8...

(since you didn't give more information I'm just guessing)
