copy controles

When we maintain copy controls ,if we copy from predefined one it is working other wise it is not working so why ? For Ex: copy ZQt to ZOr . we must copy from qt to or and rename for that as zqt and zor. SO my question it is possible to maintain own copy controls or not. and also send out put determination material pls.

Hi Guru,

It is possible to maintain are own copy controls but it is recommended you copy from the SAP standards. While copying the all required tables would get updated which we might missed out if we do it by ourselves.

If you create from scratch it will not get updated in other database tables meant for controlling the <i>copy control</i>

SAP recommends to copy as it is easy for a functional consultant so that table updation can be taken care by the program inside it.

without copying we cont do any thing iam not asking for this situation for all ie., Organiztion,Plant and so on
