question about RequestResponseBean

Hi all,

I know from SP19, the RequestResponseBean module is available to achieve async-sync without BPM. This module can convert an async call to a sync call.

I'm on NW2004 SP18 so I have no access to this module. Could anyone answer me some questions.

In case of system errors, for example the sync called system is down for a short time, how is the behavior then? Will the adapter engine automatically restart this message for several times? I know normally for synchronous messages a restart or retry is impossible in case of errors. What will happen in this async-sync scenario?
