Hello Experts,

We are facing a issue with the Idoc in data records.

when we are packing a item in carton & placing it on a pallet the item is seen in the Idoc, but when the item is directly packed on pallet then the item is not been seen in Idoc.

We are using basic type- ZESADV06 (ASN with Pallet data information at highest level) & message type=DESADV

Hi,

If i am right, ASN with the basic type mentioned in your mail is pulling data for display in its segments on condition that is must and should be a multi level packaging.

If you are packing it directly on pallet -(Single level Packing) then may be its not eligible for display in IDOC.

Try to manully pack in carton followed by pallet at higher level or multi level and check if this works.

Else check with the ABAPer why its not filling in data.

Copy the segment E1eE**** where these details need to show up and then hit search in the function module associated with your DESADV IDOC. Put a break point there and as your ABAPer to find out why that segment is not filling in...

As this is customized we need to resort to debugging only.

I have one point here can you clear,

in you mail you told that it checks for the condition of multi level packaging, can we have both multi level packaging & single level checking.
