Hi...Friends

i have logged into it using SAP* and the pasword assigned by me during installation...

But when i created new client and tried to log in...i couldn't like r/3 user:sap* password: pass for client copy. but i cannot log in by using master pasword itself

I need clarification with password regarding this....

Hi Mani,

Please check in Client 000 that your instance profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to False i.e. it should be deactivated.

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0.

Hi all, please be aware the default for no_automatic_user_sapstar is now different on ECC 6.0 systems, which probably explains the original question.

Below is the paragraph corresponding to ECC6 release of OSS note 68048 related to this point

The default value of the login/no_automatic_user_sapstar profile parameter has been changed (previously 0, now 1). To activate the emergency user, you must set the login/no_automatic_user_sapstar profile parameter to the value 0.u201D
