SAP.NET connector NAT firewall issues

Former Member

Hi

We are trying to move a SAP.NET connector application onto a web service, with a firewall. The firewall is using NAT, does the .NET connector support NAT...?

If so how?

Does this require the SAP router...?

Regards

Hi,

This is a response to myself, just to let others know...

The .NET connector does work with the SAProuter...

AHOST must be /H/saprouter/H/sap server

Where saprouter is the ip address of the saprouter and

sap server is the ip address of the sap service - i.e.

its internal ip address ( past the firewall! )

Only a short anwer to the original question:

I think is should also work with NAT (appart from SAPRouter). RFC is just a TCP based protocoll that should be "NATable", like all othe TCP based protocolls.
