Forecast release from DP to SNP

Hi all,

When i release the data from DP to SNP i am getting correct value for current week but previous weeks data it has to show in intial column.But it is not showing.

Why it is not showing???

Can any one please suggest.

Hi CSR,

Go to the transaction /SAPAPO/SDP8B and under the dataview tab u can find a field Initial Column ( Possible values ; Space,L,R,C). Assign a value L or R or C according to ur requirement.

Are you including past data in the Release from DP to SNP.

If you are releasing in background make sure there is appropriate Time Bucket profile defined for History in the DP Data View.

here i need current month previous week data in initial column.

But i am not getting for the time series key figures

where as i am getting the values in the initial column for order key figures.

can you please tell me what is causing.

Any help regarding this would be very useful.

go to your release profile in /SAPAPO/MC90 and choose the variant you use for releasing forecast to SNP and check whats coming up in the from and to dates.... make sure it has covered previous weeks in it.

Also just make sure your SNP planning book has the initial column indicator on

My problem is for the total Pir key figure i am getting the values in initial column.

But i am not getting for other key figures.

Do you have any values that you need to populate in initial column?

PIRs have initial because you are sending history to SNP

if you dont have planned orders for example you will not get any values in the initial column

can you pl go to /sapapo/rrp3 and create some orders in the past (you might have to put in a negative offset in seconds in the strategy settings to do this - there is a button there ) and go and check the initial column for Planned orders?
