Hello Kiran,

Hope its Namespace....

Namespace is used to identify your objects in the XML message uniquely. If you see Software Component Version is a Mainfolder(Directory Structure) then namespace is a subfolder inside the SWCV. Each SWCV can have mutliple Namespaces. Each namespace represents your logical representation of your integartion scenario

Namespaces are Unique identifiers for related integration repository objects. M:1 relation with SWCV.

Namespace attributes are: URN, URL and URI.

URN: It tries to give a description of a resource without actually pointing at it. means with out Protocol Assignment.

Ex: urn:abc-com:xyz

URI: URIs always designate a method to access the resource and designate the specific resource to be accessed.

Ex: http://abc.com/xyz

URL: Is a subset of the URI protocols.

For Wikipedia meaning of NameSpace-

SWCV

Software unit

A particular aspect of the product functions. It is a logical link between the product version and the software component version.

A product version consists of multiple software units. These units are implemented by various software components (or versions).

The product SAP R/3 Enterprise, which represents an SAP technical component, has, among other things, a product version SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.7. The software unit that represents the functions of this product version has the same description as the product version. Various software components (or versions) fill the functions of this software unit. These software components (or versions) are, among others, SAP Basis 6.20, SAP HR 4.70, and SAP Enterprise Retail 1.10.

relationship exists bewteen Product Version and Software Component Version:

Product Version * -> Software unit * ->Software Component Version

With Regards,

Raju.
